This SUV was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025 and will be sold through Maruti's premium NEXA dealership network.

The e-Vitara comes with a stylish and futuristic look featuring sharp LED headlamps, aerodynamic body lines, and high tech LED tail lamps. It will be launched with two battery pack options, allowing customers to choose based on their range and budget. The estimated ex-showroom price will range from ₹20 lakh to ₹25 lakh.

The SUV will be manufactured in India, making it a 'Made in India' EV even for global markets. The interior will include a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, 360 degree camera, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), and dual-zone climate control, among other premium amenities.

Launch Date and Battery Options

The company has confirmed that Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara's prices will be announced on 3 September 2025. This SUV is expected to attract buyers looking for a reliable, affordable, yet premium electric SUV. It will come with two battery pack options  one mid-range and one long range. The expected range is between 350 to 500 kilometers, depending on the variant (actual range to be confirmed post-launch).

Additionally, since the E-Vitara will be manufactured in India, it will also be exported to global markets. This is a significant move that could help position India as a hub for EV manufacturing. This strategy not only strengthens competition in the Indian market but also promises to offer world class technology and performance to consumers.

What Makes It Special for Customers ?

The E-Vitara has been designed keeping in mind the needs of Indian customers. It includes modern safety standards such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Other ‘feel-good’ features include smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, and connected car technology.

This SUV is specially crafted for those who want to switch to electric mobility without compromising on style, space, or technology. Its overall package promises a premium experience, while also laying a strong foundation for Maruti’s EV portfolio in the future.
